The Ms. Blanchard Poke Salad Pageant

19 and up (married or single) - Ms. Blanchard Poke Salad
The Little Miss Pageant will begin at 10:30 AM for
girls ages 9 and under. The first three age divisions will compete
and then be crowned. This will be followed by the next three age
divisions and the crowning of those divisions. Winners from these
age divisions will be
invited back to be introduced and presented at the beginning of the Miss
Poke Salad Pageant held that same night. The Miss Poke Salad Pageant
for the girls ages 10 and up, and begins at 6:30 PM. All age
divisions will compete and be crowned. Registration for Little
Miss Pageant begins at 9:30 AM and registration for 10 and up begins at
5:00 PM. Your purchase of a ticket during the Little Miss Pageant
will continue to be good for entry during the Miss Poke Salad Pageant.
Pageant entry forms are available at stores in the Blanchard area.
Deadline for entry is March 31st. No Door Entries Accepted.
DOOR ADMISSION:
$5. CHILDREN 5 AND UNDER FREE. EVERYONE EXCEPT CONTESTANT MUST PAY. IF YOU
ATTEND THE MORNING PAGEANT, YOU MAY USE YOUR WRIST BAND TO ATTEND THE
NIGHT TIME PAGEANT. WRIST BAND MUST BE WORN ON WRIST AND NO SHARING WILL
BE ALLOWED!
DRESS : ALL AGE DIVISIONS IN THE LITTLE MISS PAGEANT WILL COMPETE
IN SUNDAY DRESS ONLY. NO PAGEANT DRESSES ALLOWED. ALL DIVISIONS IN THE MISS
PAGEANT WILL WEAR LONG DRESSESˇ¦PAGEANT/PROM.
AWARDS: ALL CONTESTANTS WILL RECEIVE A TROPHY. 1ST-4TH
ALTERNATES WILL RECEIVE A TROPHY AND BANNER. WINNERS IN EACH DIVISION WILL
RECEIVE A CROWN, TROPHY, BANNER AND FLOWERS. PHOTOGENIC WINNERS IN EACH AGE
DIVISION WILL RECEIVE A TROPHY AND BANNER.
ALL WINNERS AND ALTERNATES ARE INVITED TO RIDE IN THE ANNUAL
POKE SALAD PARADE (MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN VEHICLE, SIGNS AND ANY THROWS).
The Parade will be on May 8, 2010, and begins at 10:00 AM. Please
